Specialty Coffee Shops in Budva
All sorts of specialty coffees you’ve missed ☕️ Of course, these aren't all the good coffee shops, but they are the ones I personally like the most. And as a bonus — where to order coffee beans for home
Oliva coffee
A stylish, bright coffee shop with excellent beans and a chill atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly and sweet, ready to help and advise you on the menu) And there's plenty to choose from: alternative brews, matcha, lemonades, various iced and seasonal drinks, you name it. You can buy coffee beans and even drip bags, if you're lucky. For snacks, they offer the usual — salads, croissants, and desserts. The only downside is the not-so-convenient location. But it's definitely worth the walk to a slightly more distant part of the city 😉
Akacia Coffee
The second branch of the Akacia coffee shop is, in my opinion, the best. It has far more space, and has convenient tables with outlets at the entrance for working. Noteworthy menu items include cold brew and SEA BUCKTHORN tea, which I’ve missed dearly and, in my opinion, is the best in town. All other classic drinks are also available, including alternative brews and various (non)dairy options. You can pair your filter coffee with a slice of cherry pie or one of their cheesecakes. Take home freshly roasted beans to suit your taste. Additionally, you can buy some coffee gear like Chemex, V60s and reusable cups 🌿
More Coffee
First of all, they have Raf Coffee with Halva 😭🤍 Secondly, the combination of concrete, greenery, and large windows makes it perfect for photos. It’s also great that you can grab a book to read on a comfortable sofa. I hope their library keeps growing! And honestly, it's just a super convenient location, close to the waterfront, the old town, and various amenities like banks. It's always nice to pop in for a filter coffee to go, and you can pay by card, too!
Textura coffee and art
An art space tucked away in a quiet, cozy spot with cats 🌿 The coffee corner is very small — just one table inside and a couple of small ones outside. Nonetheless, the menu includes matcha latte, raf coffee, espresso tonic, and alternative milk options. But the focus here is more on Art than Coffee, as most of the venue is a workshop. It hosts a variety of events for both kids and adults, including book clubs, swaps, lectures, and more. Check their Instagram for the schedule and choose what interests you. Additionally, you can rent the space to host your own events. In short, they not only serve coffee but also foster community development and new events, which definitely deserves a thumbs up
Voronka #4
ALL-DAY BREAKFASTS! That’s why this spot from Bečići made it on the list. Those living in Montenegro know that some places are worth a bit of a walk. Honestly, there really isn’t a coffee shop like this in Budva (correct me if I’m wrong, I’d be happy to know!). In addition to all kinds of coffee and non-coffee drinks, you can have a delicious and familiar meal here. The menu ranges from brunch to full dinners — syrniki, avocado toasts, ramen, poke and so much more. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, and the atmosphere is perfect for working or just chilling with a pool view. P.S. If you’re obsessed with sea buckthorn like I am, try the lemonade! It’s super flavorful, simply amazing.
CAVA Online Coffee Shop
And here’s a bonus :) You can order excellent coffee delivered right to your home. They have a great selection of fresh beans, from specialty light roasts to dark roasts for espresso. Most deliveries to Budva arrive the same day! You can place an order through their bot or on Instagram. Besides beans, they also offer coffee gear, like pour-over drippers, grinders, filters, and more, both in stock and by order
